There are pirates, then there are Pirate Pros. Kaleen, the magnificently marvellous Pirate Pro, out swashbuckled Corsair with two Corsairs!
Absolutely stunning work, Kaleen! Top-notch, indeed. I send you pirated gems and seafaring treats in great appreciation and awe! 🏴☠️❤️🏴☠️

What is the Tidal bug? I have been trying to get a traited Tidal for several days with no luck. Is there a Tidal breeding bug or is it just the all too frequent low odds of success? Thanks.
The Tidal bug is outlined in the Help Desk on the DV Sandbox thread. MinyaZ brought it up because it was discussed, several posts above.
Basically, if a target dragon shares three or more elements with Tidal, in the sandbox, Tidal will erroneously show in the top cloning pairs.
Got it. Thanks. Some bugs are harder to kill than others.
I thought Corsair would take a long time to breed because of the breeding combo and the fails. But I got lucky and was able to breed it over the weekend. I was surprised! And very happy! Like the little Davinese that’s jumping up and down in the corner of the screen lol <3

Congratulations. That is worth celebrating and doing a happy dance like Davinese. 😊

After trying for a Corsair w/Adlerist’s Corsair & my Tidal, a friend suggested I should try Water… Bingo! Corsair on 1st try! Thanks to my friend and to Adlerist! 🙏😁.
I wonder if my luck had anything to do with the fact that I bought Dubloons when I first signed into DV 🤔

Can the giant melody habitat be purchased for gems after the event ends?
Yes, and Deca have just dropped the gem price of the melody habitats. All habitats that can be purchased with gems now have a standard price based on size.
Can the giant melody habitat be purchased for gems after the event ends?
So far, Deca has not put the Melody habitats in the standard Market. The Game Reps have been asking them to do this since November. I’ll inquire again.
The new gem prices for the Paradise (large), Paradise (giant), Melody (large), Melody (giant), Monolith Reward (large), and Snowflake Reward (large) are the upgrade prices when the habitats are not in the event market. The cost to upgrade habitats is the same as the purchase price.
(Players will never see the new gem prices for the Olympus Reward, Melody (regular), Monolith Reward, Paradise (regular), Snowflake Reward, and Spooky habitats, unless Deca puts these habitats in the standard Market during Decorator Week or Dragon’s Week.)

I apologise that I always seem to be whining, but I’ve been trying for a rifted Djinni on two of my parks for four days now - even breeding up to 15,000 Etheryum without a wisp of success. Everything but. Could someone please look at the breeding odds for Djinni?

Djinni has a terrible breeding percentage — .5%. It’s a little better to social clone it in the co-op at 1%, but that won’t help with the Rift. I have an alt park that’s also trying for a traited Djinni. No luck. I feel your pain.
For my alt park, I keep a list of dragons that are needed in locked combos and have been difficult to breed in the Rift. When the Runic Breeding Caves come back around, I’ll know which traited-twin dragons to claim. I know that doesn’t help now, but it’s all I got.
Sending you lots of koala magic for a traited Djinni!

I’m in the same boat…. Been trying for a traited Djinni since the start of this event. I’ve also been breeding for Corsair in Cave, Island and Coop. So far I haven’t had any luck with either the Djini or Corsair. Needless to say, my Bingo card only gets filled with “misses” from my Corsair and Djini attempts.
I had great luck in the last event. This one has been an uphill battle for me……whine and cheese in the lounge

Only a few more hours to breed or buy Corsair. The wind has changed and at the next reset she will in her ship sailing the seas back to the faraway islands o' Fort Royale.
PSA: There’s been some changes and reductions in the game
• Tolzar’s Optical Oracle ads now payout 40 event currency (reduced from 50 EC) • Colosseum pays our 20 EC if you win gold (reduced from 25) • Mini games payout less (Name That Egg awards 16 EC, instead of 20) • The amount of EC you can purchase in the Market is slightly less • The mini colosseum on the event island likely has a reduced payout as well
(The above amounts are all based on regular days, not Double Days)
Other changes
• Celestial and Meridiem Habitat caps have been raised to 5 (thank you CalliAlli for the request) • Melody Habitat cap has been raise to 6 (thank you CalliAlli) • Paradise Habitat now has a cap of 9 (if you have more than 9 and some are in storage, you can remove them without the game crashing — thanks to Calli for testing this) • Surface Habitats are now capped at 9
The Game Reps have asked Deca about the reduction in event currency earnings. When we hear back, I’ll let you know.
Hi, can you check on the elements for Loot, which is gold and plant, the elements should be fire, metal and plant. No earth element.
Loot’s breeding hint is GOLD + plant. Its hidden elements are plant, earth, and metal. It contributes these elements when it’s in a breeding combo.
The hidden elements are not always present in the breeding pair. Similarly, all the elements in the breeding pair are not always included in the offspring’s hidden elements. Sometimes hidden elements are added or omitted.

The breeding combos for Sea Shanty & Corsair have been frustrating for me: low probability of success and huge fail times. Sadly, Sun+Hanno and Misfortune+Alure also show many potential fails of 48+ hours. This is not fun. I don’t want the game to be easy, but this is getting ridiculous. I’ve used hundreds of gems to speed up breeds. And while I’m whining, I want dragons to look like DRAGONS, not like dressed up cartoons.
The Misfortune dragon found the 'x' that marked the spot, and to his delight there was a treasure chest buried in the sand. Such fortune had finally found him! He eagerly opened the chest, but only the hollow echo of yesterday released into the air. Misfortune cursed his misfortune. 'Something wrong?!' bellowed a voice to the left. Startled, Misfortune looked over and saw CURSE approaching. 'The chest is empty!' exclaimed Misfortune. 'No, it’s not empty' explained Curse, 'it is filled with curses, like yours'.
Curse is in the co-op remedying his unsavoury reputation. Luckily, nothing quashes curses like a koala!

The good news is Curse is pretty dragony and the last dragon on the loading screen that hasn’t been in the game yet is really dragony. It looks like a serpent.
