PSA: Big changes to the Upcoming Limited Breeding Combos
Three of the unreleased limited breeding combos have been changed. Please check the Meet the Dragons post on the first page of the event thread. The Upcoming Limited Breeding Combos section has been updated with new breeding hints.
(The limited breeding combos are spoiler tagged for those who do not want the information since it pertains to unreleased content.)
Summer has carried on into the deepest depths where the City of Atlantis thrives in the dark waters and mesmerising creatures. Enjoy the secrets hidden from the sun with the City of Atlantis snugly tucked away on your profile. With its shell-shaped turrets and swirling Gaudi design, the City of Atlantis is home to the odd, terrifying, and oddly terrifying sea dragons that land dwellers have never known. The city and its inhabitants can be housed on your profile and forever perpetuate a deep-sea curiosity. Simply rate all the dragons before the event concludes on 21 August and unlock the mystery of the deepest depths.
Since we have completed three years of Rate a Dragon there are now three previous summer awards to offer. Instead of the City of Atlantis, you can choose the Pyramids from last year’s Dunes of Magic, the Ikatako Keg (Inconspicuous Barrel) from Pirates in Paradise II, or the Jolly Roger Dragon from Pirates of Paradise. So many options! After you’re done rating the Deepest Depths dragons, message me, and the Pyramids, Ikatako Keg, or Jolly Roger Dragon will be added to your profile instead.

Double, Bubble, Tidal and trouble equals Psycho, not Sipho, in my park. And, not to be outdone in the Quad Leap Year dragon abuse, I have contracted the name to Quad Leper dragon to account for the spots.
Don’t forget to vote at the Poll Plaza for the Valentine’s event theme!
A quick note about the images that were used for the poll. These are not pictures of the event loading screen, nor do they accurately represent the Valentine’s themes. They are AI images that are supposed to present the idea, but the content and art shown will not be in the game. In addition to the obvious deep concerns about AI, the poll pictures are also distorting the themes. The reps have been in a long discussion about AI images with Deca all morning. Hopefully, it will not be used in the future, and polls will only have text if there isn’t time for the Deca artists to create something.
Thank you and the other reps for discussing this with DECA, I know many players were disappointed with that choice.

(This isn’t event-related, I didn’t find a better thread to post in.)
My wishlist, if I could wield DragonVale magic…
1. More ornamental habitats. (I have ten homeless ornamental dragons. I like to keep a baby and a grownup version of every dragon, and I like to keep them in the habitat of their first element.)
2. More crystalline habitats. (I have eight homeless crystalline dragons, and they are forever stuck in the hibernation cave since they aren’t allowed in the omnitats, poor little dragons.)
3. An Aura island theme.
4. Finish the collection of the golden hybrids.
5. Make an Ellie friend icon, and icons of the other missing wizards, in the friend icons section
6. Let crackle’s hidden form show in the dragon pop up window in the habitat, like the other hidden dragons. (You can only see it in the dragonarium.)
That’s what’s on my mind this morning anyway 🤗

I currently can’t access the compendium to check, can anyone please let me know if breeding odds for Sipho in the rift drop off hugely if you already own one in your park? I’ve been fortunate enough to breed a non-traited in the rift and want to know if I should make it a pedestal instead of hatching so I don’t lower my rift odd for a traited version. I was also lucky to co-op clone it first attempt with Adlerist so I’ll still have the dragon in my park, it’s incubating now so I’ll leave it unlatched until I get the traited.

It’s always such a pleasure to try to breed limited traited dragons in the rift! I’m opting for an early seat in the whine lounge on Sipho. I will bring along sushi, Elderberry wine and some chewy salt water taffy. 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Sipho won’t be super easy. I’m breeding up to 20,000E on regular days and 40,000E on Double Days. Of course, my alt got it on day one after the third attempt. So all we really need is the Koala Luck!

I love sushi, especially with Ikatako..🤭😉.. No sighting of a traited Sipho in my LadyJ park. And I bred 2 nontraited in the rift in one of the Lingo parks..I am coming over to join you, with some extra dark chocolate and green apples for the 🐨🐨🐨🐨..

I have finally bred a Sipho in the Vale. It's automatic name is Salty, which is quite fitting considering how long it took to breed. Still need a traited version. 😊
