She may just be on holiday or disconnected from wifi. And it is a busy time of year. She also mentioned that she would be very inactive for a few days (up to a week) on a regular basis (about every month from what I could gather). There could be many factors. But it would be nice to shoot her an email asking whether she is well and how she is.

There's one other option I can think of: create a new GCID and send her a friend request from it. Put "Hey, it's me: buffy! Check your forum PMs!" in the request message.

Fwiw Skitch, in light of the info that one cannot display two sets of all dragons, and quite likely cannot display even one of every dragon, I have changed my old goal of two plus egg to one plus egg, (and w twins the same, one plus egg), as can always ask a friend to put theirs up if I love the dragon so much I want to breed a second...exceptions the BerryBerryBerry dragon (YAAY got them) and Sprout, and any other 'gotta show all three stages of life' draggies Koala w your decision!
The completist in me wants to have six of every dragon (plus eight of the Elementals) and two of every egg for one each of every stage of dragonlife including twins. Luckily the pragmatist in me has shouted down the completist! As long as I can move dragons up and down in their life stages I'll have to be satisfied with a full set of normals and just work on slow progress toward a full set of twins (but I haven't actually given up on a full set of adults and babies, hence the secondary goal of collecting two normals for every dragon). My hope is that when Dragonvale ultimately ends they will allow parks to live on independently of the servers and I can finally catch up (assuming the game will continue to run on new versions of iOS... and even then I could always repurpose one of my old devices to continue on as a dedicated Dragonvale machine for as long as it lasts).

Heh, it will be a verrrrry long time before I spend that many gems chasing a single dragon again! For one thing my war chest is still only a fraction of what it was before Omen [spits and makes Evil Eye sign at Omen dragon].
The hesitation in getting a second dragon before the pedestal is just that my main completion goal is to have one of each, and a second dragon is just gravy, so I could relax a bit and and work on other things until it's time to concentrate on whatever the upcoming holiday event brings. Haven't pulled the trigger yet, still have a few hours to decide...

I have a second Feast in the oven (yay!) and while my long term goal is to have 2 dragons and one pedestal, my strict completionist goal is satisfied by simply eggifying the li'l feller and relaxing a while... but then I have to get dragon #2 in the CBC, or wait until BEB, or wait a whole year for Autumn to roll around again. If I dragify him I at least have a better shot at getting the pedestal via cloning, but BFS has shown very little interest in letting things coast so I can catch up. Decisions, decisions...
I'd 100% hatch that egg and then get the pedestal at some later date.

Did you notice it doesn't say, "With patience any dragon can be bred" anymore? 4 days of non-stop breeding, hundreds of gems to speed it up - no Feast or Harvest. I have gotten 3 twins since the twin event - I don't keep twins. I have not bred a dragon that I have wanted in months. I have gotten them as prizes, but NOTHING has been bred. To say I'm playing less and less is an understatement. It seems the limited events are to grab gems. Am I being cynical? Has anyone else noticed the same?
I guess this could count as a major whine, but I am frustrated that this game is out of reach now. I hope everyone has far better luck than me.
I haven't seen that tip for a while either (but then there are so many tips that there are probably a few I don't ever see...), but their website does still make that claim:
Some dragons are particularly hard to breed, but don't worry. With a little patience, you can breed all the dragons in DragonVale for free. Just stick with it or talk to your friends for tips on how to improve your odds of hatching that elusive dragon.
Having said that, I too am disappointed with their more mercenary approach. I used to buy gems regularly in appreciation, but I no longer do so. I know many others have made the same decision so I hope BFS is accounting for that effect in their strategic tuning.

There is just a glass hour on both, so we don t know for how long they will be available. My guess, they go when BFS decides a sufficient big amount of gems have been purchased lol

The disadvantage is - you have to have a second email adress - you always have to sign out of one gcid and into the other one to start the other park
If you are lucky enough to have multiple iDevices (perhaps you kept your old iPhone or perhaps you have both an iPhone and an iPad) then you can just leave each device signed into a different GCID. I have an old iPhone that I keep signed into my baby park. Speeds things up considerably!

Need advice. Hibernation cave full. Need space for second Eridanian Galaxy dragon. Max islands and habitats. Where to cut if have no space. Currently have 2 of everything.
Possibilities are to drop to one of super easy hybrids. Ice poison etc. but then I won't have two. Sob. I have an inability to sell my rainbows I've saving in preparation for new habitats WHEN the next island is released. I've tried but just can't do it. Pulling hair out
What do you do?
Hibernation Cave fully upgraded yet? Check that first. Have you used your wish? Several of the event prize habitats don't count against the max. Sell Rainbows

About Mesolite, if I am lucky enough to get them (dragon + egg) quickly, I can't display it until we have a new island, few more habitats...etc.
I could store few things, and hibernate few dragons but I can't even do that. Cave is filled at 298/300, storage is 40/40.
Technically, I could do few things, but the park will look out of order.
I am stuck! I am rather stuck then adorn a messy assemble

So, do you have no space for Crystalline Habitat #2 or did you already fill it with other Crystal dragons?
Frankly, if they don't give us a new island or three soon, I'll need to demolish several of my existing designs to make room for whatever comes next.
Things are already very cramped and messy on several of my islands, so the only options would to sell off a large number of otherwise easily replaceable decorations.
And I think I decorate rather sparsely compared to many other folks around here, so if I['m running out of room our more artistically inclined players must feel positively trapped.
So yes, more islands, more hibernation space and more storage space are all HIGHLY desired
Sigh, one day I hope to get back into decoration mode... I've been in "stick it wherever it fits" mode for at least 6 islands now!

Actually, that should be the next Legendary dragon. That way he could sow chaos park-wide and BFS could stop pretending that they don't manipulate the odds* (and when spells go wonky in the park they could claim it actually is a feature)! Just spent $65M and a day and a half growing Berry Baubles? Oops, your farm actually yielded 5 Dragon Snaps! Uh oh, this week your Giant Gemstone Island is only producing DragonCash! Sorry Kairos, today you only get to accelerate time a minute and a half! Arrgh, my Elder dragons are only winning Bronze medals and my racing dragons keep tripping over the target lines... oh, yeah, Murphy!

I clearly have no knowledge of coding, so while "sandbox" being the typical word to describe a testing situation is probably the answer, I still want to know why the word is applied in that situation in the first place! I bet wOMantraNOM is probably closest in that sense... a sandbox is (usually) contained from the rest of the playground and contains a material different from the rest of the park, allowing kids to play in that environment only in that area.
Yes, this is it exactly. It has a broader usage than just a testing environment, however. In the iOS world, entirely apart from testing (i.e. in production on everybody's phone), apps run in a sandbox to prevent them from accessing other apps' data. They have their own documents and library folders, their own settings database, etc. Apps that want to interact with one another may only do so via specially-designed, secure channels provided by the operating system.

I still only have one Elder - I will need a TON more dragoncash before I have enough treats to finish leveling up my others. When I got the shrine during the Faire I started leveling all my lvl 10 epics up and chewed through hundreds of thousands of treats THE WEEK BEFORE the Elder announcement. #doh!
That's good though. Raising your epics to 15 massively increases the DragonCash earnings of your park.
Elder dragons do nothing for you, except for being a status symbol. Doing it the other way around would have taken you much longer.
Well, they do give you an extra gem per day on average assuming you have all 10 elements leveled up (via the flagbearers), plus essentially guaranteed gold medals in the colosseum (though many already have the latter via level 20 hybrids).

After sending Fletch_smf yet another low level twin I decided to take a 10 minute Twopaz break and try for a new Galaxy. My Andromedan + a friend's Comet on the second try = a Comet for me (which now sports a blue heart). Next, my Antarian + noodles Eridanian on the fifth try = an Eridanian for me (currently in the Hatchery). Back to Twopaz breeding.
Please send some of that koala to me!

Actually, you can also buy Procyon and Andromedan now too.
Buying one is quite expensive.
Breeding one
ie. Comet = Breeding hint for all Galaxy dragons now said, "The breeding pair of dragons must contain the comet dragon and either a galaxy dragon or an epic dragon."
Interesting dilemma...
It's possible new parks will start up with the new Galaxy dragons... another potential way to jumpstart them (though it may take a while and produce a lot of failed parks to go this route!)
