In case BFS does something special for the meteor shower, I recommend everyone hold off on giving gifts until we know for sure tomorrow whether doubles are that something special.
Too late the warning! I just dispatched prior to leaving for day-long business, thinking to max out later. It's about 30 minutes to SD reset.
I'm really sorry if this comes true, gem buddies, but as I mentioned previously, receiving for me is compulsive reciprocation...
s'okay! I didn't log on in time to see wapa's post and it didn't occur to me that they might have non-weekend doubles to celebrate the lyrids (though I always half-expect this for holidays and such...). Guess we'll find out shortly!

Ugh. I don't know what it is, but I have some sort of mental block about holding my gifts the night before a prospective double weekend. There's something about seeing the gifts available that compels me to send them before thinking about it. Possibly I am no longer trainable...

Crumble, i found out that when i have a sound problem in whatever app, rebooting the device does bring it back. Also, do not forget about that little button next to the sound button on right bottom side of your i pad, so many time i have inadvertendly turned the sound of with that.
viviane, you are the best ! It really was the little button next to the sound button. Thank's a bunch !
I have that switch configured to lock rotation rather than mute the speaker since mute is available in Control Center or by simply using the volume button to turn volume all the way down. Three separate ways to mute your speaker seems a bit like overkill!

Here we go again! Basically just commenting here to get this puppy in my Participated threads. Koala to all!
ETA: Those rascals at BFS may spring a doubles weekend on us starting tomorrow... just something to consider! Also, the event ends May 4th... Star Wars puns anyone?
Ha, when there was just one large golden egg to search for it didn't really matter, but now that there are multiple eggs in various colors and sizes I'm suddenly aware just how many ELOs (Egg-Like Objects) there are on my islands...

Ugh, apologies to my gem buddies, I was totally on autopilot earlier and sent my gifts instead of holding them until doubles tomorrow... Sorry about that guys!

Panlong L20 x Bloom L20 on the island, Panlong L17 x Bloom L18 in the cave. It's the only goal I have left too.
be warned : When I tried to clear the goal during last BEB that combo nearly always gave me loooong epic fails. If you have those in both caves you will have to speed them up to get the daily eggs for hatching
On the other hand, it's not quite as risky now as during BEB since there aren't as many long fails. There are only 15 Crystal and above fails right now as compared to 25 during BEB!

PSA: Don't forget it can take several days for the largest obstacles to be cleared, so start them clearing well before you'll need them (though if you have a fresh island it's likely you can complete the event just clearing smaller obstacles)

Reserving my final opinion until I can play around with it, but my initial impression of the Path of Nature is much more positive than the Path of Petals from the last event...

Just noticed there's a new "Start Quest" button when you select Kairos. Being somewhat paranoid I have opted not to tap it until the event has started in case questing is a new collection category...
EDIT: Or now that I think about it, perhaps it has always been there but has just reappeared since there are new quests for me to accomplish! How exciting!
Just got offered a deal for the theme bundle. 900 gems for all10 themes. Only 60 minutes to take up the offer.
OMG! Talk about timing! As some of you may recall, I have been saving for the island bundle. As of last night I was a mere 30 gems away from being able to buy it at the full cost of 2250. In another few days I would have pulled the trigger at that exorbitant cost.
Thank you, BFS, for saving me a bundle on the bundle!

Well, I haven't reported in for a couple weeks, so I thought I'd post an after-action report. The Iceberry event wasn't very good to me. My Aurora dragon was ultra-stubborn and refused to show up until just a day or two before leaving the market (at which point I got two in a row... go figure!). I was able to finalize my Snowflake collection in a couple days after that. At that point I only had Lodestone between me and a sparkly Dragonarium! Then came the Seed dragon and the Gathering of Roses, and for a time it appeared Seed was just going to be a repeat of Aurora, to the point where I indulged in a little whining here in an effort to change my luck. But then right around Valentine's day my luck shifted and I got two Seeds in a row, freeing me up to work on my missing Lodestone, about a baker's dozen missing eggs, and a few missing second dragons.
I'm happy to report that, after breaking the Seed logjam, I got my second Berry, my second Leaf, my second Moonstruck and an egg, two Lodestones and an egg, a Frostbite egg, an Arctic egg, an Aurora egg, a Bicentennial egg, a Dream egg, and a Sprout egg! Plus the Thorns, the Omnitat, and a few million treats to boot!
My Dragonarium is sparkly and I'm a mere 5 eggs away from a complete pedestal collection, with at least two dragons available for each!
Life is good!
Edited to add: ...and I just moved a Gourd egg into the nursery!
Posting here so it's more generally seen than in the Gathering of Roses thread: it's very likely we will have a double weekend starting in less than a day, so hold off on gifting gems and treats until doubles have started (or until we're confident that it won't).
Obviously you don't want to do this if you still have gifts to give and your gifting would reset before that time causing you to miss a gifting cycle as a result! My own gifting resets in about 4 hours but I'm already done with the this gifting cycle so if you're one of my gifting partners, don't expect one until we're sure about doubling!

Good grief, three breeding sites churning away 24x7 with various combinations of cold, light, and water, and nary a Seed to be seen. Is this destined to be my new nemesis dragon?!?

Anybody know how the Path of Petals will work? Do the path segments unlock for general usage continuing after the event or will they be like Spooky Fences and we'll be limited to what we buy during the event?
