Has anybody wrote to support, about if it's possible to breed the enchanted event dragons?
The Dragonarium (Enchanted Volume) has a breeding tip for enchanted: "Breed the North Dragon with any dragon". Presumably this applies to all the event dragons.

Hydrogen is a colorless, odorless gas, which if left alone in large enough quantities, for long enough, will begin to think about itself.
This habitat is supposed to not count against your habitat level total, so it's definitely worth getting. Note, however, that it seems to be bugged at the moment and does seem to count. Since it is documented not to count they should fix it soon.
Nope - I asked BFS and I got this response:
Mike (BACKFLIP STUDIOS)
Hi there,
Thanks for your email! There is a mistake in the description for the Exploration Extravaganza Habitat and it does in fact count against your habitat limit. Please note that the event dragons can be placed in Ancient Habitats as well. If your park is over level 12, you can also place dragons in the Hibernation Cave to free up space until you are able to unlock more habitats.
We are working to correct the description for the event habitat and I apologize for any trouble this may have caused you.
Best Regards,
Mike
BFS was saying the same thing to others on their FB page too. This is a strange response, IMO. The new habitat holds 4 dragons, but only holds 100,000 dc., whereas the ancient habs hold 1M. So, if you are a completionist....
How surprising. That's out of character for event habitats, so I was expecting it to behave this way even before learning any details of the event. I'm guessing they originally planned for it to not count (which is why it slipped through in the description) but then changed their minds (unaccountably).
Having accidentally described it this way, in my opinion they should fix the behavior, not the description!

Also does someone know if its worth buying the extravaganza habitat, or just build acient ones? I assume you can use both cause they are all accient dragons.

PSA: As you creep up to the 1999 goal, don't forget to crate that last airship dragon you've been keeping out 'cause he's a good earner. That dude'll pop you right over the cap, netting you a lousy overage.
Blech.

There are reports in some other forums that the airship is bankable. If so, this could be a 200-300 ME bank. I am already maxed and can't test. Anybody nearing max with a pending airship?
Edit: And actually, "bank" isn't really the right term since the mechanism to save the overage in gifts doesn't seem to be present. This is just a way to exceed the daily maximum.
I just tested this theory...I was close enough to the cap that filling the orders would put me over the top. Basically, it gave me full credit for the overage on the crate that took me to the cap (one magic thingy over). But the additional crates, the dragons and the full cargo didn't add anything further. So now my daily total at the top reads 2001. Bottom line... don't count on being able to bank from the airship.
I did notice that if you click on the message icon thingy there is a line for "gifts" so there may be some mechanism for putting extra aside. I would imagine that it would put people off purchasing extra magic essence if the purchase could only be used up to the daily cap and not to help build some reserve.
Hmmm, I wonder if it would work better to complete the airship before going over, creep up to the limit, and then send the ship... I think I got 200 for actually sending, maybe that would all count as overage?
if purchased ME work the way they do in the original they'll go straight into the "wallet" without affecting the cap (so pure overage ready to spend).
Thanks for testing!

Banking is alive and well. I got to 1999 magic, then won 50 from the drop game. Adventures might also work like they do in DV1, but unfortunately I cannot test that since I already used 3 today.
Ha, I was just coming on to report this. I still have an adventure pending, will report back later (though I have to do some real work for a while!)

It does look like a lot of activities collect currency though... I just hope this doesn't turn into a grind.
Looks like I got a couple hundred Essence from the airship... I wasn't watching my totals closely enough :/
Edit: Ugh, does anybody see a way to dismiss an adventure? It wants me to level one of my higher level dragons (of course). Keeping up the food pressure!
If you check up at the top of the forum page (below the list of admins and mods) you'll see a handy clock that says "BFS time". This is the local time at BFS headquarters, and as EuroKnuter says, events typically start at 11 AM BFS Time (for DragonVale... not sure about DVW). As I type this it is 10:47 AM BFS Time
Then the clock is off. It's 10 am in Boulder right now.
Limited dragons in DVW so far have rotated out 1 hour before the reset in DV1, so I'm guessing the event will start in 30 seconds.
Yup, just noted that above. I mentioned it in staff, hopefully we can get it fixed!

Oh, did'nt notice that it was'nt showing my timezone Thanks
Although, now that I look at it, I think the clock is off by an hour... I will bring this up with the admins!

IF they do the event like they do them in DV THEN I would expect it to start at 7 p.m. your time in Denmark.
But this is only because 1. I had to look up what time it was in Denmark (UTC +1) 2. I was totally off about what time it starts at BFS (UTC -7) - it starts at 11 a.m., not 12 p.m.
Since this is the first event in DVW we'll have to see when they start it
I will check once pr hour, if I remember, so we can use that information in the future 16:49 danish time, nothing seems to have changed. But according to your guessing, it should 2 hours and 11 minuts from now

Ps. They nerfed the breeding times of jungle etc. Too many people figured out the breeding weekend quest.
I was all prepared to respond "Aha, but the last 5 minutes are free now, so it's just to compensate for that!" But nope, they nerfed it all the way to 20 minutes, so even finishing for free after 15 minutes means that breeding weekends are a real grind now. Jerks.

Well, the new DVW has hit the store, and the new parklink system is NOT a user account system. That means it doesn't provide a new in-game friend mechanism. Sigh. It just generates a temporary code that can be used to connect to your park from another device. Interesting but ultimately disappointing.
Here are the AppStore notes:

Can anyone explain why the Quest clue for the Nether dragon is "Pancake Plunder"?
The Nether dragon's description is:
"The nether dragon is a peculiar breed: super strong, resistant to fire, bestowed with enhanced sight, capable of understanding the words "dragon treat" in numerous ancient magical languages. Given its strange traits, Valefolk like to speculate that this dragon came from the netherworld, but no one is quite sure. Perhaps the biggest mystery is why the word "pancakes" in any language gets this dragon riled up. Heck of a thing."
So the real answer to your question is "no"

This strongly suggests that they will have their own in-game accounts rather than relying on FB or GC accounts. If so, it should be easy for them to provide in-game friending!
Hope it also means BFS is also working on DV in-game friending capabilities.
I hope so too! My fear is that they may want to start pressuring us to move to DVW as it picks up steam and that skipping this feature for DV might be the beginning of a phaseout. I don't have any compelling reason to believe this, but it bothers me they haven't made a similar announcement to the DV page (that I could find)

Skeeter, what event? I don't seem to have an event in DVW, but I do remember reading something about personalized events. Is that what's happening? Some people might have an event, but others won't?
There should be a new "target" icon on the bottom of your toolbar with yellow numbers under it. Tap it to see your event screen. The number represents the time remaining.
I'm not sure whether there's supposed to be a notification or not, but I've never gotten one. I almost missed my first one a couple weeks ago because I didn't notice the new icon until there was only a day and a half remaining. For me the events start late Thursday night so I've learned to watch for the icon.
skeeter622, DVW rotates through 4 different events starting with food for your first one, so it's not necessarily the dragon cash event for everybody. This week mine is the breeding event.
Backflip's DV world page posted this on Nov 23, "Soon, you'll be able to link your park across devices and platforms without Facebook or Game Center! We know this feature is important to many of you, and we're excited to introduce it in the near future."
I'm hoping that means we'll also be able to have another way to add friends. Maybe??
